Hello my name at the Children of God was Petrus Johannus or in English it has been Peter John.

Let me try first to tell a little more about myself:
I joined the Children of God in Holland in a farm Vreeswijk near the city of Utrecht in 1970 or 1971.

In 1973 we moved to the building of the Salvation Army near the Central station Amsterdam.
I was in charge for the disco and sleep inn.
That time I was guiding a dropout girl from Ljubljana, Slovenia and her new name was "Reborn" her real name was Mija.
In 1973 Jeremy Spencer came to play and I performed with him as well on my acoustic guitar, we played songs like born free born wild and gypsy child. With this last one I had a number one hit in former yugoslavia in the 80ties.

My friends inside the family were Jubal, played the keyboards, Squere a nice smiling girl playing and singing as well.
Leader was the Dutch Ben and his wife, I think her name was Rebeca or Mirjam.

I left the Children in 1974 and I joined them again a year later in Milano Italy, but this has been a very short time.
I stayed believing in God until this day but my life has been a very struggle to get rid of all this in my mind.

Today I am a known was journalist and lots of shocking video's shown on the international media were made by me.

I would love to get in touch with former family members from this time.

Again a day after my first posting here I am getting filled with emotions I though were long gone...
watched the several video's online did not make me feel better.
but at least I know now where my nightmares are coming from

Now I remember more names i really would wish to find them again from the period I have mentioned:
Faith (USA)
Jubal (USA)
Jonatan (USA)
Mirjam (Dutch)
Ben (Dutch)
Marry (USA)
And more who do remember my singing and playing guitar at waking up and before lunch or diner.
