Hi, when did they disband?

In 2010 is when my parents told us ( my sister and I left) that they were disbanded. Then I contacted my friends who were still in to ask why they hadn't told me. My friends said it had just happened and things got crazy as people shuffled, some homes stayed open ( this was in Asia) and some shut down. People were going to visit their families and start new lives.
