We are looking for moderators for the Philforum group on able2know. Ideally we would like to find people who were part of the old Philosophy Forum and who understand the community well. However, we are willing to consider other people who feel like they would be able to do a good job.

Moderators will need to be able to work together to establish policies for this group, communicate those policies to the membership, and then enforce those policies. You will be given moderating tools that will be operational only in this specific group. (That is, moderators for the Philforum group won’t have the power to moderate other groups on able2know, or the able2know forums.)

The process of accepting applications, choosing moderators, and providing technical training to them is likely to take at least a few weeks. Able2know moderators will be moderating this group in the meantime, though it may be to a more lax standard that you are used to, with an emphasis on removing spam. We are eager to put moderation into the hands of members of this community.
