I've been wanting to open a thread on Nommo for some time now, but I can't find a very accurate description of it (except in the video).

In the beginning was the Word...

Hardly just an African concept although there may be interesting nuances to the African rendering.

I tend to relate this concept back to the singing wizards of the Kalevala.

I think it was not so much a word as a cry of a Godess giving Birth !
One of Egyptian Godesses was called "womb of the Gods:lol:
